STAB IN THE DARK
A murder at the Prince Rupert police station re-unites two detectives, Eugene and Manny, bitter rivals who blame each other for the disappearance of their co-lover Felicia. Then another murder happens. Then another. Can Eugene and Manny put their differences aside to solve these grisly crimes? And why does the scent of Pine Sol follow them around like cheap cologne that stays on for days even after you’ve showered? And how many people named “Phil” live in this damn town?
Director: David Smook
Starring: Jewel Jerstad, Rich Jerstad, Chris Armstong, David Smook, Leah Jowe
JUVENILE EYES
Will (Chystopher Thompson) is an unemployed twenty six year old lacking self-confidence but finds serenity in the presence of his teenage girlfriend, Susan (Tristen Wybou). Susan’s parents (Andy Enns and Martina Perry) have been long quarrelling over the relationship though still have yet to meet Will. Can Will and Susan remain lovers even if her overbearing parents create an insurmountable strain on their future?
Written and Directed by Stephen Huddlestone
ZENBRIDGE
Written and directed by Rudy Kelly
A Zenbridge oil tanker is found dangerously close to shore in a small coastal community . . . what has happened to the crew? Shortly thereafter, a strange epidemic sweeps through the town, turning many of its citizens into zombies! The media provides coverage of the various ways the plague is affecting the community and how it is dealing with it, while Doctor Kent and Nurse Gary race against time to find a cure!
Starring: Angelica Jesser, Dan Bubas, Hayley, Zimmerman, Jasper Nolos, Chelsea Jesser, John Ferrell, Paula Loroff, Clark Spence, Joe Gaber
TOAST ‘N JAM
Betty (Leisl Kaberry), has decided that today is going to be the day! She will let Bill (Lyle McNish) know of her intentions for him over a carefully prepared breakfast. Betty knows that Jolie (Lesley MacAllister) has had too late and intoxicating of an evening to interrupt this special event. But things don’t always go according to plan, and neither does this play! Jolie gets up early, a little thirsty, a bit agitated and very curious about the breakfast setting for two. Bill is consumed by himself and a fair bit daft. Based on the fable Collectus Praebibo by little known 17th century writer Anotonio Gomez De Sousa.
Director: all cast members
I’D LIKE TO BUY A VOWEL
Sadie (Chelsea Jesser) is in charge of the morning cup coffee shop, and makes sure her brother Ian (Jasper Nolos) knows it. Ian in turn, is not a happy camper, which translates into some very poor customer service, especially towards Dot (Jenna Cann), a quiet, unassuming customer, like a fly on the wall. This is also where friends, Hayley (Paula Loroff) and Tiana (Angelica Jesser) go to chat, although mainly about Hayleys problems with the girls who have been making her life miserable. Tiana offers great advice but Hayley is much too consumed by her need to exact revenge.
Writer: Rob Shearer
Director: Cliff Doupe, Lyle McNish and Graeme McNish.
RUPERT TONIGHT

Expect sketch comedy, music, improv and stand up. No two shows are the same! WARNING: Adult themes and humour.

PLAYGROUND REVENGE
A classic tale of good vs not so good, but with clever twists that can only come from the minds of children, and told by a chicken. Cowtain Crench and the Crenchberries meet Madame Snicknastee and the snickerdoodles in a Skrimish to determine who will rule the monkey bars, retain santbox bragging rights while avoiding detention, and keep all their lunch money. Which side of the slide will you be on? This is the Kid’s Theatre Camp Production for this year’s Udderfest.
Written by and Starring: Kids
Director: Treena Decker
WAR OF WITS
Stolen from CBC radio’s popular program, “The Debaters” the war of wits pits contestants from different teams in a verbal battle royale to determine the winner (ie who gets the most laughs). The topics are plucked from the local headlines and, be forewarned, if you are a public figure in Prince Rupert, you will probably be made fun of. Hosted by the unbelievably handsome Chris Armstrong, with his trusty time keeping sidekick, the well-groomed Lyle McNish. Come to laugh, and leave well-informed.
Writer: The contestants
Director: Nobody in particular
Starring: A bunch of people who are hilarious
HIGH SOCIETY A talented band coming all the way from Vancouver. Since this show isn’t part of Udderfest you won’t be able to use your 4-passes for it. But all proceeds go to the creation of a new band room!

Is the actual municipal election campaign too serious for you? Are you tired of politicians making promises they can’t keep? Would you rather see people pretend to run for an imaginary office, making wild promises they have no intention of keeping?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then come check out “So You Wanna Be Mayor” at the Tom Rooney Playhouse on November 18. You’ll see a bunch of fake politicians make short speeches, and you’ll get to choose the winner in the election that will ensue. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., showtime at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $10, and will only be available at the door on the night of. Why? Because this event, the first of our 2011/2012 season, also doubles as our membership drive. That’s right, for the low cost of $10, you too can become a member of Harbour Theatre, which includes some of the following benefits:
Hope to see you there! Please email harbourtheatre@gmail.com if you have any questions.
